I wish it didn’t start because of hate, but I’m happy that it’s ending with lots and lots of love!
We learned earlier that Genevieve Cortese (Padalecki) wouldn’t attend the NJCon because of the fans harassment she received from people hating her just because she’s not Katie Cassidy or because she’s Jared Padalecki’s wife (to resume !). To go against all this madness and to show our support, start using the #GenevievePadalecki trending on Twitter and say something nice about her, something you love about her or anything. Don’t forget to add @jarpad so he can see all this and give her the message. Cortese, as the others, has the rights to participate any conventions she’d like to be in and she has the rights to know that there aren’t only bad people in the fans of Supernatural (or Wildfire or… Anything she’d been on ?)
If you think this is useless, go ahead. But don’t think Genevieve Cortese is the only one in this situation. Just show your support. Don’t let mean people win this. It’s easy to say “I hate this”. But you also gotta say this more often :
“I Love this.”

Even if Gen did not get threats from fans
It is still wonderful that all of you are showing her love. Because Danneel and Gen take a lot of shit from this fandom. And they don’t deserve it. So maybe she did have a scheduling conflict, but so what. Show some love anyway. They should know we’re not all assholes who hate them.

Madame Moose, Fangirl ESQ.: so where did this Gen 'death threat' thing come from?
All I’ve heard (from Creation) is that she pulled out due to “medical reasons”. Tumblr seems to be blowing up over “death threats”, but the only place I see it mentioned is someone’s random tumblr. That’s hardly a reliable source.
Someone educate me.
ps. “mama moose” implies she is someone’s mother. which she is not. this is a little on the ridic side.
pps. hey jared, this would be a good time to use twitter to diffuse the situation.
ppps. if she was, in fact, threatened, ROFL y’all are in trouble.

Sources confirm there was no personal conflict regarding Genevieve Padalecki’s appearance at this weekend’s New Jersey convention. It was merely a contractual mishap and a timing issue. While appreciated, no campaigns are necessary.
